Questions
Why is it an APK and not on the Play Store?
ShortReel is currently in a limited regional rollout. The direct download is the same signed build; a Play Store listing follows once the rollout is complete.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no advertising, and no in-app purchases.
What does it collect?
Only a random installation identifier used to route watch-party invitations. Clips stay on your device unless you send them to a room.
How do I update?
Downloading the newer APK and installing over the old one keeps your settings.
